Hydraulic brakes are standard on trailers 6.5m up. Hydraulic brakes activates when your car slows down. This allows for more control when towing. The brakes can also be used as a park brake to hold the trailer in position. It is best to use the park brake with wheel chocks when leaving your trailer parked. The rotors and calipers are stainless steel, and is fitted with braided stainless steel brake hose lines. Hydraulic brakes are legally required to be fitted on tow loads greater than 2,000kg.
